Fire Road 28

"It's very important to us and the outcome is a better buffer for China Lake... the result was wonderful!"

That's what these Fire Rd. 28 property owners said about the work done to extend the shoreline buffer, install an infiltration dripline and place erosion control mulch around the camp over the summer.

And they're right!

These improvements - as installed by the Youth Conservation Corps - will stop algae-loving phosphorus from getting into the lake and reduce the chance of nuisance algae blooms.
