Our Mission

China Lake Association was founded in 1987. 

​

Our mission is to preserve China Lake for future generations through environmental stewardship and community action.

 

To do this, we:

• Inform the public on the restoration and protection of China Lake.

• Encourage, facilitate and disseminate scientific research regarding China Lake.

• Educate, fundraise and host activities that strive to guard the waters of China Lake against pollution, preserve the environmental health of the China Lake watershed and to protect and enhance the beauty of the lake.
