Fire Road 37 - Site 1

This Fire Rd. 37 property owner excitedly shared the following after the Youth Conservation Corps installed a substantial infiltration trench along their camp's perimeter, planted a shoreline buffer and placed erosion control mulch.

"I've been coming to China Lake since I was a child. And in that time, I've seen the water quality change drastically -- great to gross. Currently, we're heading in the right direction, and I know I'm helping to protect the lake!"

TRUTH! On the whole, these improvements contribute to the overall reduction of phosphorus runoff from the watershed, thereby reducing the chances of future algae blooms in China Lake. BRAVO!
